Going to the beach is exciting as it provides excellent photo backgrounds. However, getting the pose that suits your body is most challenging. For bottom-heavy girls posing on the beach might be limiting if you are trying to find the correct posture that doesn’t take away from your body. Here are flattering beach poses that you should try out and their do’s and don’ts.

1. Standing poses

Do’s

  • Place your arms away from the camera as it makes your waist look thinner and gives you a great shape; it also makes you occupy fewer frames in your photo.
  • Cross your legs and hone the front leg in a slight tiptoe.

Don’ts

  • Avoid facing the camera head-on as it makes you cover a lot of frames on your photo.
  • Having your arms out wide while facing makes you look wider
  • Putting your legs apart also makes the photo unflattering

2. Understand symmetry when posing

Do’s

  • Bend your leg or try maintaining an inclined form, mainly if the bottom swimsuit or cover-up covers more symmetry on your body
  • Bend your arms opposite to your leg to give you good form.

Don’ts

  • Avoid standing straight facing the camera, as this will make you look more extensive in the photo.

3. Sitting on stairs or inclined surfaces

Do’s

  • Extend the right leg and have the other one bent as this makes your legs look long since it diverts the attention to your thighs.
  • Hide your right arm and bend the other one.
  • Tilt your head upwards, which makes your neck look longer.

Don’ts

  • Avoid bending your legs for sitting poses since this makes you look bigger.
  • Sitting in inclined places with your hands next to your body makes your upper body look wider when you put your arms on the sider.

4. Poses when laying on sand on your side

Do’s

  • Lean on one of the sand with one arm and ensure the other arm is on the back
  • Cross one leg and extend the other as this makes your legs look longer and puts a lot of focus on your thighs.

5. Posing against a tree or a wall

Do’s

  • Do a fake lean to avoid putting all your weight on the surface you stand against, for instance, trees.
  • Cross your legs to give your body a flattering look
  • Doing a tiny tiptoe can do wonders for your photo.
